Your Fourth of July spent in Southwest Florida will be filled with fun and, of course, fireworks. With the Fourth falling on a Sunday this year, most will make a long weekend out of it. If you're planning to spend the holiday weekend in the Fort Myers area, consider these fun, family-friendly activities.
Fort Myers Beach Independence Day ParadeFestivities kick off with a 10 a.m. parade up Estero Blvd. The parade starts on Fort Myers Beach and finishes in Times Square. You'll see big trucks, costumes, and colorful floats. You can expect fun for the whole family.
